Bodybuilding Health+ GLP-1 Review: Is It Legit, and What Does It Cost?
Bodybuilding Health+ is a compounded GLP-1 telehealth program with semaglutide from $139 a month. We put it through the same five checks we apply to every provider before we link to it. It clears most of them, and it does not clear all of them. Here is exactly what we found.

What is Bodybuilding Health+?
Bodybuilding Health+ launched around April 2026 as a health storefront under the Bodybuilding.com name, operated by Dynamo Group LLC. Its medication is compounded and shipped by Strive Pharmacy, a 503A compounding pharmacy. It sells compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide for weight management, alongside a longevity lineup that includes sermorelin, NAD+, and tadalafil.
Intake is fully online. You complete a medical questionnaire, a licensed independent provider reviews it, and approved medication ships to your door. There is no live video visit, and follow-up runs through a patient portal. That keeps it fast and cheap, and it also means less back-and-forth than a program built around a scheduled consult. Compounded semaglutide is the same active molecule as branded Wegovy but is mixed by a pharmacy and is not an FDA-approved product, which is the central trade-off of this whole category.
How Bodybuilding Health+ scores on our 5-point vetting standard
These are the same five checks from our public vetting checklist. We apply them to every provider before linking, no exceptions.
- Named pharmacy, pass. Bodybuilding Health+ names Strive Pharmacy, a 503A compounder accredited by PCAB and NABP and licensed in all 50 states. One note: it is the single pharmacy behind the program, so there is more concentration risk than with a provider that names several.
- Named, licensed medical team, flag. Prescriptions come from licensed independent providers, but the program does not publish a named, board-certified medical director the way a top-tier program does. We could not verify who leads it clinically.
- LegitScript certification, pass. Yes, through Strive Pharmacy, which is LegitScript certified in addition to PCAB and NABP.
- Transparent pricing, pass. The $139 a month starting price is published before intake. Note that the lowest prices require paying six or twelve months upfront, so confirm the plan and dose you are actually committing to.
- Clean record, flag. In a February 2024 consent agreement, the Arizona Board of Pharmacy noted Strive began compounding injectable semaglutide about seven months before it hit the FDA shortage list, and Strive paid a $1,000 fine tied to that and to recordkeeping. It is resolved and minor, but it is on the record.
The verdict: accredited and legitimate, and it clears three checks cleanly. The two flags, unpublished medical leadership and the pharmacy’s resolved disciplinary action, keep it a step below a provider we would recommend without reservation. We would rather show you that than pretend all five came back green. If any of these change for the worse, we will pull the link.
The honest caution: compounded GLP-1s in 2026
You should not start a compounded GLP-1, with Bodybuilding Health+ or anyone, without understanding the regulatory picture. The FDA has declared the semaglutide and tirzepatide shortages resolved, which narrows the legal basis for 503A pharmacies to compound copies. An April 2026 proposal to remove these drugs from the 503B bulk list is expected to finalize around the third quarter of 2026. The FDA also sent more than 80 warning letters to telehealth compounders and pharmacies in early 2026.
What that means practically: the compounded category is shrinking, pricing and availability can change with little notice, and prepaying six or twelve months carries real risk. None of that makes Strive or Bodybuilding Health+ a bad actor, but it is why we treat this whole lane with caution.
